O’Level Subject Subject Combination For Political Science and Public Administration

To study Political Science and Public Administration in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credit passes including English Language Government or History and at least a pass in Mathematics

UTME Subjects Combination For Political Science and Public Administration  Course

English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Political Science and Public Administration under the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences n the institutions are:

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

Waiver For UTME Candidates

WESTERN-DEL requires five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Government and one other Social Science subject plus and other subject of Choice

Waiver For Direct Entry Candidates

UNIBEN accepts merit in ND (Upper Credit)/HND (Lower Credit) in Public Administration or Mass Communication; ND/NCE (overall merit) with Credit pass in Government/History and any other Social Science subject. Direct Entry candidates must satisfy UTME requirements.

(ii) WESTERN-DEL accepts
a) At least two ‘A’ level passes in any one of the following subjects. Government, History, Economics or Geography.

(IIi) UNIABUJA accepts two A level credit passes in Arts or Social science subjects. Or NCE (minimum10 points) /ND (upper credit) in social works and other relevant discipline in addition to the ‘O’ level requirements.
