It offers the National Certificate of Education (NCE) and Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) programs. The NCE program is a three-year full-time program that prepares students to teach in secondary schools, while the PDE program is a two-year part-time program that provides professional training for teachers already teaching in secondary schools.
Admission requirements: To be admitted into the NCE program, applicants must have at least five credits in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), including English Language, Mathematics, and two other relevant subjects. For the PDE program, applicants must be practicing teachers with a minimum of two years of teaching experience. Applicants to either program must also pass an entrance examination.
