O’Level Subject Subject Combination For Chemical Sciences Course
To study Chemical Sciences in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and two other Science subjects.
UTME Subjects Combination For Chemical Sciences Course
English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Chemical Sciences under the Faculty of Sciences n the institutions are:
Mathematics and any two of Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Biology and Agricultural Science.
Direct Entry Requirements for Chemical Sciences
Two ‘A’ level passes from Mathematics, Physics, Economics or Chemistry.
(ii) NCE with minimum of merit in relevant subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
Waiver For UTME Candidates
() GODFREY and KUST require five ‘O’ level credit passes including English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and any other Science subject.
(ii) GODFREY requires five SSCE credit passes in not more than two sittings in subjects which include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
Waiver For Direct Entry Candidates
(i) GODFREY requires two “A” level passes in Chemistry and any one of Physics, Mathematics or Biology. ND/NCE with good grade in relevant “O” level subjects.
(ii) CRUTECH accepts:
a) For Chemistry ND (Upper credit) in Science Laboratory Technology, HND (Lower credit) in Food Technology, NCE (merit) in Chemistry and any other Science subject, IJMB
(B grade) in Chemistry and any other Science subject.
b) For Biochemistry ND (Upper credit) in Science Laboratory Technology, HND (Lower credit) in Food Technology, NCE (merit) in Chemistry and Biology, IJMB (B grade) in Chemistry and Biology.
