O’Level Subject Subject Combination For Fine Arts And Design Course

To study Fine Arts And Design in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language and Fine Art.
For holders of NTC, the relevant subjects could be General Wood work, Building/Engineering Drawing, Introduction to Building Construction; Decorative Painting; Spray Painting, Linig, Sign and Design; Wall hanging, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing; Printing Origination; Machine Printing and Finishing; General Metal Work, Basic Electricity, Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing; Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing; Graphic Design; Graphic

UTME Subjects Combination For Fine Arts And Design Course

English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Fine Arts And Design under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in the institutions are: Fine Art and two other Arts subjects or Social Science subject.

 

Direct Entry Requirements for Fine Arts And Design

Two ‘A’ level passes in Art or Fine Art and any other subject.

(ii) ND (Upper Credit) HND (Lower credit) from recognised institutions.

Waiver For UTME Candidates

(i) UNIPORT requires three subjects from Literature in English, CRK/IRK, Economics, Maths/Biology/Agric. Sc., a Nigerian Language, History/Government and geography.
