O’Level Subject Subject Combination For Economics and Development Studies Course

To study Economics and Development Studies in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and at least two other relevant courses preferably in Commerce, Government and Accounting subjects

UTME Subjects Combination For Economics and Development Studies Course

English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Economics and Development Studies under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in the institutions are: Economics, Mathematics and any of Government, History, Geography, Lit-in-English, French and CRK/IRK.

 

Direct Entry Requirements for Economics and Development Studies

NCE/ National Diploma with Upper Credit in the relevant subjects in addition to five credits at SSCE in not more than two sittings
