O’Level Subject Subject Combination For Water Resources, Aquaculture and Fisheries Technology Course

To study Water Resources, Aquaculture and Fisheries Technology in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credit passes in Biology/Agric Science, Chemistry, Mathematics and English plus any other Science subject.

UTME Subjects Combination For Water Resources, Aquaculture and Fisheries Technology Course

English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Water Resources, Aquaculture and Fisheries Technology under the Faculty of Agriculture in the institutions are: Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and any other Science subject.

 

Direct Entry Requirements for Water Resources, Aquaculture and Fisheries Technology

Two ‘A’ level passes in any of Chem, Bio, Botany, Zoology, Agric Sci, Geog, Mathematics, (Pure and applied) Physics, Geology and Economics.

Waiver For UTME Candidates

(i) FUTMINNA accepts any one of Physics, geography, Economics, Home Economics, Food and nutrition as the fifth subject. At least a pass in Physics is required.

Waiver For Direct Entry Candidates

(i) FUTMINNA accepts OND/NCE with a minimum of Lower Credit plus UTME requirements.

(ii) FUTMINNA accepts OND/NCE credit into 200 level while those with HND may be admitted into 300 level.
