NYSC Date of Birth and Wrong Course

Are you a prospective corps member & wish to know How to Correct Date of Birth and Wrong Course during NYSC online registration?, if yes, the latest update from NYSC dashboard is that Henceforth, information from the West African Examination Council (WAEC) will now be used to effect changes on the NYSC portal as from the 2017 Batch ‘A’ online Registration. The new procedure is as follows:

STEPS To Correct NYSC Date of Birth and Wrong Course

Prospective NYSC corps members can follow the following simple steps to affect changes to their date of birth. You are required to change any error in date of birth before the completion of NYSC service. There shall be no correction of Date of Birth on Certificate of National Service (CNS) after completion of National Service. Accordingly, you are strongly advised to utilize the link provided on your dashboard for Date of Birth correction during your online registration. Also, note that NYSC will not entertain any request for Date of Birth correction once you have been deployed and commenced your service year.

1. Login to your dashboard: https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/
2. click on the link to Date of Birth
3. Enter WAEC Verification PIN, select WAEC Type, Year of exam and enter your Examination Number
4. Click on Verify button
5. Click SUBMIT or CANCEL

STEPS For Correction Of Course of Study During NYSC Registration

The Following are the Procedures for Correction Of Course Of Study On The NYSC Platform.

1. Login to your dashboard
2. click on the link for Correction of Course of Study;
3. Select Course of Study; and
4. Click SUBMIT
