To study Economics and Operative Research in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two of Arts or Social Science subjects.
UTME Subjects Combination For Economics and Operative Research Course
English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Economics and Operative Research under the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences n the institutions are:
Economics, Mathematics and any of Government, History, Geography, Lit-in-English, French and CRK/IRK.
Direct Entry Requirements for Economics and Operative Research
Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agric Science, Accounting, Business Management, History and Government.

CRESCENT requires two ‘A’ level passes to include Mathematics and either Economics or Accounting. Also accepts NCE/ND and approved equivalent of at least upper credit in relevant fields and IJMB at acceptable levels
