O’Level Subject Subject Combination For Economics and Development Studies
To study Economics and Development Studies in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two of Arts or Social Science subjects.
UTME Subjects Combination For Economics and Development Studies Course
English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Economics and Development Studies under the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences n the institutions are:
Economics, Mathematics and any of Government, History, Geography, Lit-in-English, French and CRK/IRK.
Direct Entry Requirements for Economics and Development Studies
Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agric Science, Accounting, Business Management, History and Government.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
Waiver For UTME Candidates
FED-OYEEKITI requires the other two subjects to include one science subject and any one of Accounting, Business Management, Government, Geography or Statistics.
Waiver For Direct Entry Candidates
FED-OYEEKITI requires two A’ level passes chosen from Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography or Statistics.
(ii) IGBINEDION accepts National Diploma (Lower Credit) in Accounting, Business Admin./ Banking and Finance; NCE in Economics, Mathematics or any other Social Science subject.
