O’Level Subject Subject Combination For Information Technology Course
To study Information Technology in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics plus two other science subjects
UTME Subjects Combination For Information Technology Course
English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Information Technology under the Faculty of Sciences n the institutions are:
Mathematics, Physics and one of Biology, Chemistry, Agric Science, Economics and Geography
Direct Entry Requirements for Information Technology
Two A/L passes in science subjects including Mathematics
(ii) NCE with at least Merit in Mathematics and one other Science or Social Science subject.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
Waiver For UTME Candidates
(i) CRESCENT requires five (5) O ’level credits in not more than two sittings at SSCE, GCE or NECO which must include English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Economics.
Waiver For Direct Entry Candidates
(i) AUN accepts:
(a) AUN accepts ‘A’ level passes chosen from English Language, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Literature in English, Government, History, Economics, Geography, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Visual Arts, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Civics, and French.
(b) does not accept credit passes in the following; Agriculture, Food and Nutrition, Home Economics, Home Craft, Home management, Physical Education, Physical and Health Education, Music, Commerce, Accounting, Financial Accounting, Book `Keeping, Islamic History, Religious Studies, Tajweed, Library Studies, Diction, Kiswahili, Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Arabic, Turkish, Study skills.
(c) accepts ICGSE and ‘A’ level Cambridge and does not offer admissions direct to 200 level programs. May transfer credits relevant to it’s major at the discretion of the Dean of school.
