O’Level Subject Subject Combination For Information Science And Media Studies Course
To study Information Science And Media Studies in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics plus two other science subjects
UTME Subjects Combination For Information Science And Media Studies Course
English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Information Science And Media Studies under the Faculty of Sciences n the institutions are:
Mathematics, Physics and one of Biology, Chemistry, Agric Science, Economics and Geography
Direct Entry Requirements for Information Science And Media Studies
Two A/L passes in science subjects including Mathematics
(ii) NCE with at least Merit in Mathematics and one other Science or Social Science subject.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
Waiver For UTME Candidates
(i) BAYERO accepts only Science subjects in Computer Science, does not accept Economics.
Waiver For Direct Entry Candidates
i) BAYERO accepts:
(a) National Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Studies, NCE in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics.
(b) HND (in relevant fields-Computer Science, Graphics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical/Electronics).
(c) B.Sc Degree (Natural Science, Physical Science, and Environmental Science).
