O’Level Subject Subject Combination For Common Law Course
To study Common Law in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Literature – in – English and any other three Arts/Social Science subjects.
UTME Subjects Combination For Common Law Course
English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Common Law under the Faculty of Faculty of Law, Environment and Technology in the institutions are:
Literature-in-English and any two other Arts/or Social Science subjects.
Direct Entry Requirements for Common Law
Two ‘A’ Level passes in GCE/IJMB in Arts or Social Science subjects.
(ii) First Degree (Second Class Lower) of an accredited University.

Waiver For UTME Candidates

Waiver For Direct Entry Candidates
(i) UNILORIN accepts passes in the following:-
(a) HND (excluding Secretarial Studies);
(b) ACIS;.
(c) ACA, AIB.
(d) Other full qualifications in Accountancy
(e) LL.B (UNIVERSITY OF LONDON)
(h) ‘A’ Level pass in English Literature may be considered in lieu of ‘O’ level requirement in Literature-in- English
(i) A Pass grade in ‘O’ Level Mathematics is required.
(j) Degree holders need not possess Literature-in-English and Mathematics.
(ii) UNILORIN does not require English Literature for degree holders.
(iii) UNILORIN accepts “A” level English Literature in lieu of Literature-in-English. Also accepts Commercial subjects
