O’Level Subject Subject Combination For Geography and Planning Course
To study Geography and Planning in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credit passes to include English, Mathematics and Geography.
UTME Subjects Combination For Geography and Planning Course
English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Geography and Planning under the Faculty of Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Technology in the institutions are: Geography and any two Arts subject.

Waiver For UTME Candidates
(i) UNIJOS requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and Geography in addition to any other two Social Science or Science subjects.
(ii) ABSU requires five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography and any other two subjects from Economics, Government, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts and Social Studies. Also requires credit in any two of Arts, Sciences or Social Sciences subjects.
(iii) UNIJOS accepts IJMB passes including Geography. Also accepts National or Higher National Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning or Lang Surveying at credit and above levels
Waiver For Direct Entry Candidates
(i) UNIJOS accepts IJMB passes including Geography. Jos also accepts National or Higher National Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning or Land Surveying at Credit and above level, provided candidates posses the minimum UTME requirements.
