O’Level Subject Subject Combination For Building Technology Course
To study Building Technology in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and any one of Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing. For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building/Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold/Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.
UTME Subjects Combination For Building Technology Course
English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Building Technology under the Faculty of Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Technology in the institutions are: Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
Waiver For UTME Candidates
(i) BELLS requires Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one from the following:, Biology, Technical Drawing, Geography, Economics, Building Construction..
(ii) COVENANT requires English Language, Mathematics, Physics and additional two credit passes in the following subjects: Chemistry, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Geography, Land Surveying, Building Construction, Biology and Agricultural Science. At least a pass in Chemistry is also required.
(iii) ABSU requires five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two subjects from Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Geography, Arts and Economics or any NTC relevant subjects.
(iv) BAUCHI requires five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Any other two subjects from Chemistry, Geography, Economics, technical Drawing or relevant trade subjects.
Waiver For Direct Entry Candidates
(i) BAUCHI accept ND/HND lower credit in relevant courses.
(ii) BELLS accepts:
(a) Two A’ Level passes from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
(b) ND/HND (Upper Credit respectively) Building Technology.
