O’Level Subject Subject Combination For Industrial Technical Education Course

To study Industrial Technical Education in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credits to include Physics or Mathematics.

UTME Subjects Combination For Industrial Technical Education Course

English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Industrial Technical Education under the Faculty of Education in the institutions are: Mathematics, Physics and one other Science subject.

Direct Entry Requirements for Industrial Technical Education

Two ‘A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics.

(ii) ND with at least lower credit in Civil Engineering, Production/Elect. Engineering.

(iii) Final City and Guilds or its equivalent plus National Technical Certificate.

(iv) NCE in Technology Education plus credit pass in Physics or Mathematics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

Waiver For UTME Candidates

(i) UNN requires five ‘O’ level credits to include Physics or Mathematics at GCE/SSCE, NTC, City and Guilds intermediate in addition to UTME entry requirement.

Waiver For Direct Entry Candidates

(i) UNN accepts:
a. Two ‘A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics in addition to departmental UTME requirement.
b. ND with, at least, lower credit in Civil Engineering, Production/Elect. Engineering, Drafting Technology.
c. Final City and Guilds or its equivalent plus National Technical Certificate.
d. NCE with, at least merit pass in Technical Education
e. Engineering Technicians Part II Certificate.
