O’Level Subject Subject Combination For Electrical / Electronics Education Course

To study Electrical / Electronics Education in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credit passes to include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and any other Science subject.

UTME Subjects Combination For Electrical / Electronics Education Course

English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Electrical / Electronics Education under the Faculty of Education in the institutions are: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry

Direct Entry Requirements for Electrical / Electronics Education

Two ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

Waiver For UTME Candidates

(i) BASU:
(a) Requires credit passes in English Language, Mathematics/ Arithmetic, Physics/General Sciences/ Electrical Electronics Trades and any other two relevant Science subjects.
(b) Accepts credit pass in Arithmetic or General Science or Technical Trades in lieu of Mathematics or Biology or Physics respectively.

(ii) BASU requires Mathematics, Physics and any other Science subject.

Waiver For Direct Entry Candidates

(i) BASU accepts:
(a) NCE (merit) in Electrical/Electronic Education, Sciences. NCE (pass) in Electrical/Electronic Education with at least five years teaching experience.
(b) ND (Lower credit) in Electrical/Electronic.
(c) A’ level passes at credit level in Mathematics and Physics.
