O’Level Subject Subject Combination For Education and Arabic Course
To studyEducation and Arabic in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credits in relevant subjects including English Language and Arabic.
UTME Subjects Combination For Education and Arabic Course
English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Education and Arabic under the Faculty of Education in the institutions are: Arabic and any 2 relevant Arts/Social Science subjects.
Direct Entry Requirements for Education and Arabic
Two ‘A’ level passes or NCE in relevant subjects including Arabic.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
Waiver For UTME Candidates
(i) ABU accepts T.C. II at credit/merit level.
(ii) UMYU requires five credit passes in English Language, subject of specialization and any other Arts subjects.
(iii) UNIABUJA and LASU require five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit Passes in SSCE/NECO, GCE to include Mathematics, Arabic and English Language.
Waiver For Direct Entry Candidates
(i) UMYU requires five credit passes in English Language, Arabic and any other three Arts subjects with a pass in Mathematics.
(ii) ABU accepts:
(a) Two ‘A’ level/IJMB passes which must include Arabic.
(b) NCE with minimum of C grade in Arabic.
