O’Level Subject Subject Combination For Building Education Course
To study Building Education in any university in Nigeria, it is required to have Five SSCE credit passes to include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and any other Science subject.
UTME Subjects Combination For Building Education Course
English Language is compulsory for all courses. The other three subjects required for Building Education under the Faculty of Education in the institutions are: Any three Arts subjects.

Direct Entry Requirements for Building Education
Two ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
Waiver For UTME Candidates
(i) BASU:
(a) Requires credit passes in English Language, Mathematics/ Arithmetic, Physics/General Sciences/ Electrical Electronics Trades and any other two relevant Science subjects.
(b) Accepts credit pass in Arithmetic or General Science or Technical Trades in lieu of Mathematics or Biology or Physics respectively.
(ii) BASU requires Mathematics, Physics and any other Science subject.
Waiver For Direct Entry Candidates
(i) BASU accepts:
(a) NCE (merit) in Electrical/Electronic Education, Sciences. NCE (pass) in Electrical/Electronic Education with at least five years teaching experience.
(b) ND (Lower credit) in Electrical/Electronic.
(c) A’ level passes at credit level in Mathematics and Physics.
